In these monthly “readings,” I find meaning in each month’s astrological positioning and connect it to the physical body and my intuitive take on the universal energy. My goal is to provide guidance and understanding as a collective. Each month is applicable to everyone.
The Stars
The Aries cycle begins on March 22nd and ends on April 20th. Aires is the first astrological sign, leading us out of winter darkness and transforming the world with its powerful energy. Aries brings about an energetic new year and prompts us to ask ourselves foundational questions like “Who am I” and “Why am I here?” We begin to discover the polarity of our being—the masculine and feminine elements that exist in our physical plane and within ourselves.
The Body
Aries20 rules the brain, eyes, and nose. In the brain, there are two hemispheres, and we want to make sure that our energy flows back and forth between both sides. The eyes are extensions of the brain and symbolize the sun (which also has connections to Leo and the heart). We know that when we look into someone’s eyes, we can also see into their heart.
Tips for This Cycle:
Balanced and focused breathing
Place both hands on your lower abdomen, below the waistline. Visualize your breath coming in through your lower body, bringing energy into this important area of physical vitality. Take several focused breaths concentrating on your lower body.
As you breathe out, place one hand over the center of your chest and heart, and send your breath from your lower body to your heart center.
Once you feel these areas are well connected, start again with both hands on the lower abdomen and as you breathe out, let one hand travel up the center of the body all the way to the center of your forehead, inviting your energy to travel with it.
Keep one hand on the lower abdomen and one hand on your forehead area—continue to breathe in and out for several breaths until these areas feel balanced.
Using Numbers for insight and clarity
Focus on an issue that is troubling you or something you would like more insight into—like your current work situation, a relationship, or health issue. As you bring it into focus, ask what number 1 – 9 could give you more insights. Trust the symbol of the number and the information it holds. Interpret your results below:
Number 1 is the root of opportunity, a symbol of confidence, power, and action. It pushes us to look at our current circumstances and realize that we have the power to turn them into anything we wish. It inspires us to take control of our future and embrace new beginnings.
