Healing with Crystals

Crystals are formed in and by the earth. Every civilization that has existed from ancient Rome to modern America has been built using the minerals of the Earth. Crystals and gemstones have been admired, worn and used in ceremony dating back to the Sumerians and ancient Egypt. They are mentioned in the documents of the Vedas, Tao and Bible for uses in wisdom and protection.  Indigenous cultures throughout time have used crystals and stones for offerings, talisman, currency, scrying, luck, wealth and healing.

How do They Work?

Quartz crystals form in silica rich water at high temperature and pressure. Quartz can produce an electric charge and is able to amplify, store and transfer energy. All crystals and gems have a unique vibrational frequency and can be used to boost our energy field and our surroundings. They are tools to be used with focus, as energy follows intention and thought.

• You can choose a crystal for a specific quality, like Rose Quartz for attuning to the energy of love or obsidian for grounding and shielding against negativity.
• Crystals and stones can be cleared with salt water, a flowing spring or river water, smudging with sage, sweetgrass, incense, covering with brown rice and with tuning forks.
• Charge your crystals in the sunlight, moonlight, gently playing Himalayan bowls or placing smaller crystals on a larger cluster.
• Experiment holding different stones and crystals to support your intentions for any improvements you want to make in your life and within yourself. Many people enjoy carrying one or more small tumbled crystals in their pocket for extra energetic support of their intentions.
• Move crystals and stones around in different areas and rooms and notice how the space feels with their addition and removal.
