In these monthly “readings,” I find meaning in each month’s astrological positioning and connect it to the physical body and my intuitive take on the universal energy. My goal is to provide guidance and understanding as a collective. Each month is applicable to everyone.
The Stars
The fire cycle of Sagittarius begins on November 22nd. Ideally, as Sagittarius awakens, the mind is like an arrow that naturally aims towards attaining our spiritual truths. The control of the Ego is released, making it possible to focus on only our highest goals. As this energy steps forward within us, it helps others step forward in their journey as well. Discovering our true self allows manifestation and co-creation with the Divine much easier.
The Body
Sagittarius rules the hipbone, the femur, the muscles, and the big nerves. The femur is a solid part of the body, which assists us in stepping forward in life. Strong muscles help by lifting the legs, holding the body, and bending the knees. The great nerves are vital to make the muscles function properly. Sagittarius rules the continuation of the spinal cord to innervate the lower part of the body, particularly the legs.
Tips for This Cycle:
AH and OH Sounds
Being heart-centered helps us to realize the true and highest good for ourselves. Once you feel good and centered with what is best for you in your heart, grounding that energy makes those desires easier to obtain.
So … take a deep breath in. On the exhale, make the sound AHHHHH. Feel this sound bringing the energy in your head down to your heart center in the middle of your chest. Repeat this sound several times until you feel more centered and peaceful. Next, take a deep breath, and on the exhale, make the sound OHHHH. This sound will bring the energy from your heart area down to your hips. As you repeat your breath and this sound, affirm that your heart-centered energy is flowing from your hips all the way down your legs into the Earth.
Humming and Tapping the Thymus Gland
The Greek word for “thymus” actually means life energy. The thymus gland is beneath the upper part of the breastbone in the middle of the chest. It helps to balance the brain and plays a vital role in the body’s immune system. Humming is a wonderful way to balance the nervous system and tune up the body.
Sit or stand and place your hand on your sternum. Find a smooth, low pitch humming sound that actually vibrates your sternum. Start tapping your sternum with three fingers as you continue to hum. Continue to hum until you can feel your bones vibrating. Feel the vibration flowing down your body through your feet and into the earth.
